Willem Vervarcke is a member of our AI, Insights & Solutions practice.
Willem brings more than 25 years of experience helping organizations become more data-driven and AI-enabled to improve business performance. His work focuses on enterprise data and AI strategy and governance, data platform modernization, intelligent automation, and data and AI operating model design. He advises senior executives on aligning enterprise data strategy with business priorities, modernizing cloud data platforms, and designing governed data ecosystems, semantic layers, and product-oriented data models that enable trusted analytics and scalable AI adoption.
Prior to joining our firm, Willem held senior leadership roles spanning data and analytics, AI solutions, and platform architecture. He led analytics and engineering teams and delivered enterprise-wide transformation programs across healthcare, life sciences, consumer goods, retail, and energy. Throughout his career, he has guided organizations from legacy business intelligence environments to modern cloud-native data platforms, enabling advanced analytics and enterprise AI at scale.
In addition to his client work, Willem contributes to our thought leadership on enterprise data and AI strategy, modern data architectures, and governance, with a particular focus on the operating models required to scale AI in a secure, high-performing, and cost-effective manner.
