Andrea Isabella

Andrea leads Bain's our global Supply Chain & Manufacturing practice and is a member of the firm's Industrial practice.

He joined Bain in 2000 and, since then, has focused on large-scale manufacturing and supply chain transformations for both multinational corporates and private-equity-owned companies, helping clients drive operational excellence, cost and working-capital improvement, and full-potential value creation across complex industrial footprints.

Andrea has advised clients across steel, machinery, industrial equipment, paper & packaging, pharma and specialty chemicals, leading engagements spanning manufacturing excellence programs, integrated business planning and supply chain redesign, net working capital reduction, pricing excellence, and technology & AI-enabled operations strategy.

Across his recent projects, Andrea has helped clients unlock more than €500 million in EBITDA impact, working across diagnostic, design, and full-scale implementation phases to translate operational and supply chain improvements into sustained bottom-line results. This impact spans a range of industries and ownership structures, from multinational corporates managing multi-site manufacturing networks to private-equity-owned companies pursuing accelerated value creation during the hold period, reflecting the breadth and depth of the transformations he has led throughout his career at Bain.

Prior to joining Bain, Andrea worked as an R&D engineer at Prysmian.

He holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi of Milan, as well as a degree in aeronautical engineering from Politenico di Milano.

Andrea is a keen sailor and traveler, always looking for the next coastline or destination to explore
